With the speed of today’s internet service, super-fast personal computers and laptops, and the impending death of analog television, more and more people want to watch movies online. There are other ways to download free movies and do it legally. There are several sites that cater to small and independent movie studios. One example of this is Metacritic.com. There are also lots of free movies from other indie studios on Youtube and Dailymotion. I’ve seen a lot of these movies. Some of these guys are very good and produce great quality programs.

Now what if you don’t mind paying to watch movies online? Well there are a lot of options for that also. Amazon.com has a service called Unbox that allows you to pay to watch movies online. All of these movies are older movies that are no longer in the studios. Don’t hold your breath waiting for Hollywood to put new releases online. That ain’t happening no time soon.



And finally, one more company that offers online movies is NetFlix. With NetFlix subscription service, you can download selected movies to your computer, This eliminates the anticipation and anxiety many of us get (myself included) waiting for the postman to bring our next movie. And since you can choose the type of movies you like to watch with NetFlix, you'll be certain to get one of your favorites. In the end, we are all responsible for the actions we take. I know these studios and directors and actors make a lot of money. But that doesn’t justify watching free movies illegally. Just imagine if you had a successful business. Would you be alright with people taking your products without paying for them? Of course not.

So watch movies online the right way. And support these indie studios and watch some of their free downloadable movies.
